• Fasten the buckle and tighten the chest straps by pulling the end of the tightening strap (fig.11), until obtaining
the required fit, taking care to always leave a little slack.
IMPORTANT: Make sure that the harness straps are not twisted.
• To loosen the harness, press the button on the tightening device and pull the chest straps with the other hand
(fig.12).
NOTE: Check that the padded parts and the buckle are correctly in place. They are two parts that are very
important for safety and must be used always.
How to take the child out of the Baby 0
• To take the child out of the Baby 0
while pulling the two shoulder straps with the other hand (fig.12).
• Unfasten the harness by pressing the red button and place the shoulder straps at the sides of the seat.
Installing the Baby 0
WARNING: Do not install the child restraint system on front seats fitted with a frontal AIRBAG, without
disconnecting it first.
• The Baby 0 SAFE TECH must always be fitted facing backwards, with the child facing the back of the car

(fig.13).
• Position the Baby 0
• Put the handle in the installing in the car position and make sure that it clicks into place when it reaches the
position.
• Pull, carefully, the seat belt and pass it over the Baby 0
handle. Fasten the seat belt, and pass the abdominal part of the belt through the two corresponding guides
(1) (coloured blue) (fig.14).
• Pass the diagonal part of the belt behind the Baby 0
• Put the belt in the corresponding guide (coloured blue). Hold the Baby 0
diagonal part of the belt to tighten it (fig.16).
Removing the Baby 0
• Take the diagonal part of the belt out of the fork (coloured blue).
• Unfasten the belt and take it out of the guides of the abdominal part taking care to keep the belt away from
the child.
• Before taking the Baby 0
the handle clicks locked into place.
Installing the Baby 0
NOTE: The Baby 0
Baby 0 SAFE TECH, which is sold separately.

NOTE: Before purchasing the Base fix Baby 0
with the release device found on the backrest.
• Set the handle of the Baby 0
• Position the Baby 0
• Press the Baby 0 SAFE TECH against the base, you will hear it click and two green indicators will appear on

the front part of the base (fig.17).
• Check that it is correctly fastened onto the base by pulling the Baby 0
the Baby 0 SAFE TECH from the BASE FIX Baby 0

• Pull the release device found on the backrest of the Baby 0
part of the Base fix Baby 0
• Pull the seat upwards (fig.19).
Installing the Baby 0
This exclusive fastening system means that the Baby 0
Vintage, Jazz, S4, Downtown, Livi, Loop, S-Twinner, Avant, Kudu, Kudu 4. For all of them the procedure to fit
the Baby 0+ SAFE TECH is the following:

SAFE TECH facing backwards, place it on the fastening points of the base.
