3-7 USING THE FEED UNIT ON
A SPINDLE MOULDER
During grooving operations, the two
toupie guides must be perfectly
aligned, while during milling or profil-
ing operations the two guides must be
as staggered as required by the thick-
ness to be removed.
In the Feed unit, the toupie miller must
be fitted between the middle roller (B)
and the entry roller (A).

A .JOINTER PLANER
When a Feed unit is fitted on a jointer
planer, all Feed unit rollers must act on
the outgoing side of the planer.
The entry roller (A) must be approxi-
mately 5-6 em from the workstand
opening. The pressure of the
rollers on
the piece to be machined must be as
light as possible.
