6.4 Modifi cation of three-way mixing
valve
1. Loosen the collar nut at the bypass with the
help of a spanner 52 mm spanner (illustr. 15).
2. Turn the three-way mixing valve assembly by
180°. Now turn the T-piece by 180°. Tighten
the collar nut with a torque of 150 Nm
(illustr. 16).
3. Check the alignment of the spindle of the
mixing valve. The fl at surface of the surface
of the spindle has to point downwards and
has to be aligned horizontally (illustr. 17). In
this position, the supply pipe is closed by the
spindle of the mixing valve.
4. Mount the adapter (3) supplied with the
actuator (illustr. 18) onto the spindle of the
mixing valve.
5. Please make sure that the pong of the
adapter points downwards (illustr. 18).
6. Fit the locking device (9) to the three-way
mixing valve (illustr. 19).
7. Place the actuator onto the adapter (3)
(illustr. 19).
8. Tighten the screw (4) with the serrated lock
water (5) with a torque of 5 Nm (illustr. 19).
X The mixing valve with actuator can now be
fi tted into the product assembly.
When installing the three-way mixing
valve into the product group, the
collar nuts have to be tightened with
a torque of 25 Nm.
After installation, check all
connection points for leaks.
