3. Installing the Digital Camera.

Check the digital camera.
Check the digital camera before installing it in the Case.
Battery Confirmation
The flash is used very frequently during underwater shooting.
Make sure that you have enough remaining battery power.
Checking the number of pictures remaining to be taken
Make sure that the number of remaining pictures available is sufficient.
Removing the hand strap from the digital camera
If a hand strap is attached to the digital camera, it must be removed.
CAUTION
: • If a digital camera is loaded without removing the strap,
the strap may get caught between the case lids and may
cause water leakage.
• Handle the digital camera carefully when removing the
strap. OLYMPUS IMAGING CORP. shall not be
responsible for damage caused by dropping the camera.
Loading the camera in the case
Applicable Digital Cameras
This product (PT-032) is designed exclusively for use with the
Stylus 710/700 and µ710/700 digital cameras.
Turn the digital camera ON.
The digital camera can be switched ON by pressing the camera's
POWER button once. Pressing the button again turns the camera OFF.
If the digital camera is not operated for about 3 minutes with the power
ON, it automatically enters the standby status. Normal operation is
resumed as soon as a control such as the zoom button is used.
If no operations are carried out for 15 minutes, the camera automatically
switches OFF to prevent battery power consumption. In this case, the
POWER button must be pressed to turn the camera ON again.
