Special safety instructions

The blade wheel and hole blade are very
sharp. Be careful not to cut yourself on them.
The broken edges of the tiles may be very
sharp. Use gloves when handling cut tiles!
NB! Make sure you have more tiles than you
need for your project. The thickness, material
and glazing of tiles can vary, so two diff erent
kinds of tiles should not be treated the same.
Start by practising on some tiles before you
begin the real work.
Assembly
Unpack all the parts.
1. Place a rubber foot (1) on one of the
corners of the base plate (18). Attach a
washer to a screw and push the screw
in through the hole in the foot and in
through the hole in the base plate. Attach
a washer and a nut to the screw from the
inside of the base plate and tighten the
nut. Repeat this procedure for all four
corners.
2. Insert the two rails (6) through the holes
on the cutting unit for straight cuts (4).
Attach a buff er (3) to each rail. Insert the
rails into the holders (2) and attach the
holders to the base plate using two bolts
and two washers on each side.
3. Screw the handle (5) securely into the
socket on the cutting unit for straight
cuts.
4. Attach the mitre guide (17) to the base
plate using the locking screws.
5. If necessary, attach the hole cutting unit
(7) onto the rails using the bracket (11).
