Cleaning the Platen
Due to the nature of the type of fabric used in
polyester T-shirts, some ink may be transferred to the
platen during the printing process, in which case no
time should be lost in cleaning the platen as described
below before the ink dries.
A
Check that the platen is ejected forward.
If it is not ejected, press the } button to move the
platen forward.
B
Turn off the printer and check that the displayed
screen disappears.

Use a soft, clean cloth to carefully remove any
dust or dirt.
To remove stubborn stains, wet a cloth using
either an ink cleaner or a solution made by
mixing water with a small amount of a neutral
detergent. Wring the cloth out, wipe the platen
thoroughly, and then remove any traces of
moisture with a soft, dry cloth.

Important:
Do not use alcohol or other organic solvents,
as these could discolor, deform, or damage the
platen.
