Pouring
A
Remove the cap from the tap, and then turn the
lever until the hole is facing down.

Tip the cardboard or the container and pour the
pre-treatment liquid into the target container.

When you have finished pouring liquid, reverse
the steps in step 1 to put the cap back on the tap.

Make sure you keep the mouth of the tap facing
up as shown in the illustration.

Diluting the pre-treatment
liquid
Depending on the type of ink used, the pre-treatment
liquid will be applied to the T-shirts either in an
undiluted state or diluted with distilled or pure water.
White ink
Use undiluted pre-treatment liquid.
Color inks
Dilute by a factor of 7
(pre-treatment liquid : water = 1:6)
Applying the pre-treatment
liquid
Amount of pre-treatment liquid to
apply
Apply pre-treatment liquid to the T-shirts with a roller
or sprayer.
Apply approximately 15 g of pre-treatment liquid to
printing areas of A4 size.

Do not apply too much pre-treatment liquid. Applying
too much may cause the print quality to decline.
Note:
Depending on the properties of the material, traces of
the pre-treatment liquid may be visible after performing
ink fixing when you apply pre-treatment liquid by using
a roller. If this does happen, you may be able to improve
the results by using a sprayer instead of a roller.
