IMPORTANT: the pre-load sleeves up to 30 mm long should be assembled between the plug
and the spring while longer pre-load sleeves should be fitted between the spring and the damping
unit.
ATTENZIONE: I tubetti di precarica di lunghezza fino a 30 mm vanno posizionati tra tappo e
molla; quelli di lunghezza superiore devono essere inseriti tra molla e gruppo ammortizzatore.
ATTENTION: les tubes de précharge d'une longueur maximale de 30 mm doivent être montés
entre le bouchon et le ressort; ceux d'une longeur supérieure doivent être montés entre le
ressort et le groupe amortisseur.
ACHTUNG: Dievorspannrohre mit einer Länge bis 30 mm werden zwischen dem Verschluß und
der Feder eingelegt: die längeren müssen zwischen der Feder und der Stoßdämpfergruppe
eingepasst werden.

Make sure the O-ring is fitted into the upper plug (5) and the screw
adjuster is fully loosened (anticlockwise).
Hook a wire loop under the check nut (14) and lift out the rod inside
the spring. This will enable you to snug the upper plug onto the rod
end.

Verificare che sul tappo (5) superiore sia montato l'anello OR e
che la vite di registro risulti completamente svitata in senso
antiorario.
Utilizzando un filo di ferro, agganciato sotto al controdado (14),
sollevare l'asta all'interno della molla per poter avvitare a mano
il tappo superiore sull'estremità dell'asta.

Vérifier que sur le bouchon (5) supérieur soit monté le joint OR et que la vis de réglage soit complètement
dévissée dans le sens contraire des aiguilles d'une montre.
En utilisant un fil de fer, accroché sur le contre-écrou (14), soulever la tige à l'intérieur du ressort afin de visser
manuellement le bouchon supérieur sur l'extrémité de la tige.

Überprüfen, ob auf dem oberen Verschluß (5) der OR montiert wurde und ob die Einstellschraube vollkommen
gegen den Uhrzeigersinn gelöst ist. Unter Anwendung eines Eisendrahts, der unter der Gegenmutter (14)
eingehakt wird, die sich im Innern der Feder befindliche Stange anheben, um so den oberen Verschluß am
Stangenende mit der Hand einschrauben zu können.

Screw the plug (5) on the rod (torque max: 10 Nm/7.1 ft. lb.)
until the end of the thread and tighten the check nut (14) against
the plug using a torque of 30 Nm (22.1 ft.lb).

Avvitare quindi a fondo sull'asta il tappo (5) (coppia massima: 10
Nm/7.1 ft. lb.) e serrare poi il controdado (14) contro quest'ultimo
alla coppia di 30 Nm (22.1 ft.lb).

Vissez le bouchon (5) à fond sur la tige (couple maxí: 10 Nm/7.1
ft. lb.) et serrez ensuite le contre-écrou (14) contre celui-ci au couple
30 Nm (22.1 ft.lb).

Dann den Verschluß (5) (Max Auzugsmoment: 10 Nm/7.1 ft. lb.) ganz einschrauben und die Gegenmutter
(14) gegen diesen bis zu einem Anzugsmoment von 30 Nm (22.1 ft.lb) festziehen.

Lift the stanchion tube and fit it on the plug making sure not to
damage the O-ring. Tighten the plug on the stanchion tube using
a torque of 25 Nm (18.4 ft.lb).

Sollevare il tubo portante e imboccarlo sul tappo facendo
attenzione a non rovinare l'anello OR. Serrare il tappo sul tubo
portante alla coppia di 25 Nm (18.4 ft.lb).

Soulevez le tube porteur et emboîtez-le sur le bouchon en veillant
à ne pas abîmer le joint torique. Serrez le bouchon sur le tube
porteur au couple 25 Nm (18.4 ft.lb).

wird.
Den Verschluß auf dem Standrohr bis zu einem Anzugsmoment von 25 Nm (18.4 ft.lb) festziehen.
