Tip
• To cut out an unwanted part of
the audio source, press P
PAUSE. To resume audio
dubbing, press P PAUSE again.
Note
• You cannot dub audio onto an
NTSC-recorded tape.

Basic Operations
You can add music or narration on the normal audio track while
playing back the picture recorded on the tape. The monaural sound
previously recorded is replaced while the original hi-fi sound remains
unchanged.
Connect audio source equiment such as the stereo system, other VCR,
etc. or a microphone to this VCR.
How to connect audio equipment

Operation (when dubbing using audio equipment)

Insert a tape on which you want to audio dub.

Search for the point to start audio dubbing and set it to
playback pause.
p STOP

P PAUSE
Press AUDIO DUB.

Prepare the audio source equipment for playing.

To start audio dubbing, press P PAUSE on the VCR and
simulatenously start playing the audio source.
Audio dubbing starts.
