1. INTRODUCTION

You will surely find out very quickly that you have purchased a reliable, trouble-free, easy-to-maintain and
reasonably priced barbecue with this appliance, which provides an excellent grilling result.

1.1 Reading the installation, operation and maintenance manual

Dear customer,
Please read the installation, operating and maintenance instructions carefully before initial start - up in order to
avoid improper handling and serious damage. Sections 4 and 5 are particularly important!

1.2 Use options

This device is suitable for commercial use and can be used flexibly everywhere. The texture of the material makes
it possible to grill any kind of meat. There are no restrictions. The Combisteel CE griller meets the testing
requirements of the CE mark.

1.3 Unit design / Description

The device consists of a stainless steel housing, hung in a tubular frame. The lower guide and support bar of the
grill is firmly welded to the tubular frame. The upper guide rod, to which the motor is attached, is firmly
connected to a heat shield, which protects the motor from overheating. The guide rod with the heat shield is
inserted into the guide tube attached to the device and bolted to the threaded bolt. The two guide rods are
offset from each other, so the grill is vertical with the motor mounted in the device. By slightly loosening the
respective adjusting screws, the grill can be adjusted by consequential or simultaneous displacement of the
sliding sleeves, both in its distance from the radiator surface and in its inclination to the same. The surface of the
grill will always be almost parallel to the heating surface.
Depending on the type of your device, it has three or four 4-cycle switches and a control light. The devices are
equipped with efficient heating coils located behind a glass-ceramic disc.

2. STARTING UP

2.1 Initial start-up

Please take care to remove any packaging material, protective film, etc. Before connecting and switching on the
device, make sure that you comply with important safety instructions (section 4). The supply line plug, z. B. CEE
or perilex connectors, should be installed by an electrician.

2.2 Functions of the rotary switch

Press switch to switch on the device. Control light is on. Each switch controls one heating zone with two stages:
Position O Heating zone is switched off.
Position 1 Heating zone is operating in holding mode (pale red color).
Position 2 Heating zone is operating in full load mode (intense red color).
Note: Due to the corresponding switch settings even small gyros meat skewers can be economically grilled. It is
possible to grill skewers by attaching a grill plate to the device.
