1. INTRODUCTION

1.1 How to use the installation-, operating- and maintenance instructions
Dear customer, we kindly ask you to carefully read this manual in order to avoid improper handling and damages.
2. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
2.1 Technical rules for gas installation
The installation and the start-up of the gas grills must be done by a professional technician only, in conformity
with the technical rules and the local directives for gas installations.
2.2 Set-up of the device
The appliance must be placed on a sturdy, secure and level surface made of stainless steel. This steel surface
must have smooth beveled edges and be welded in such a way as to prevent grease leakage. The grill may not
be set up next to wooden or plastic surfaces. During operation the grill must be equipped with a grease pan. For
the model GD5 the minimum distance between grill and wall must be 200 mm. The grill must be connected in
accordance with valid regulations and may only be operated in a well-ventilated room in order to prevent
concentrations of hazardous exhaust gasses from rising above permissible levels.
