3.2 Mounting equipment
The mounting equipment is not included in the scope of supply.
S 4 Allen screws (DIN 912) M6 x 20 mm with lock washer (DIN 137) and washer
(DIN 125).
S Torque wrench with size 5 Allen key insert.
3.3 Mounting
The scanning head is mounted in the slot according to the mounting drawing, refer
to Section 4.
Caution
The scanning head and the flange-mounted socket must be bolted to a grounded
metal body so that there is a good electrical connection. There must be no
insulating paint layer on the mounting surface!
The encoder connecting cable may only be inserted or removed when the equip-
ment is in a no–voltage condition which means that the drive converter must be
shutdown (otherwise it will be destroyed).
Use the attached brass gauge to adjust the unit. The encoder would be damaged
when using a ferromagnetic gauge.
It is not permissible to adjust the encoder using the encoder signals. Thus, the
6FX2007–1AA00 encoder diagnostics unit may not be used.
The ESD protective measures must be maintained.
