Components
The SIZAG 2-substitution gear wheel encoder consists of the following
components:
S Gear wheel with incremental track, reference track and separation track
S Scanning head with connecting cable
S Flange-mounted socket with mounting accessories

Regarding the electromagnetic combatibility (EMC), the encoder system is quali-
fied according to standards and guidelines valid. The machine manufakturer must
ensure that the necessary ambient conditions are observed. It must especially be
ensure that charge balance between the spindle rotor and spindle stator can take
place. The high field strengths that may occur if the spindle rotor is insulated can
lead to malfunktion of the encoder system.
