CARBON BRUSHES
Carbon brushes are wear parts and must be replaced
when they reach their wear limit.
NOTE: Have the carbon brushes
checked and replaced by a qualified
STORCH customer service centre.
Replace the carbon brushes when worn down to 6
mm.
To inspect or replace brushes, first unplug the tool.
Replacing the brushes:
Remove the brush cap using a slotted screwdriver.
Then remove the brushes.
Finally install the new brushes in reverse sequence
and replace the covers.

NOTE: When inserting the carbon
brushes into the carbon brush holders
it is essential that both flanges go back
inside the holder.
NOTE: To reinsert the same brushes,
first make sure the brushes go back
in the way they came out. Otherwise
a break-in period will occur that will
reduce motor performance and increa-
se brush wear.
For the replacement, follow the disassembly instruc-
tions in the reverse order. We recommend having the
tool thoroughly cleaned and lubricated at an authorised
service centre at least once a year.
