Installation
NOTE!
Installation and intial start-up may only be
carried out by suitably qualified, trained and
authorised personnel (see section 2.4)
Completely use or vent the remaining gas.
• The system components should be removed
from their packaging carefully and prudently.
• Additional protective packaging should also
be removed.
• Turn knob on the pressure regulator
anticlockwise to the stop.
• Screw on the pressure regulator, the threads
must match.
• With pipe and outlet pressure regulators:
- Observe direction of flow
- Internal filters are only for protection
against possible contamination during
installation. The use of an external inlet
pressure filter is recommended, other than
in systems using the cleanest gas.
- Gaseous media should be free of moisture
to prevent icing of the regulator at high
flow rates.
• For cylinder pressure regulators:
- Do not use transition pieces between the
cylinder connection and cylinder valve .
WARNING!
Do not use lubricants!
Using lubricant causes the pressure regula-
tor to become dirty and there is a danger of
internal ignition when using oxygen or nitrous
oxide.
NOTE!
After installation, the inlet and outlet connections
must be checked for leaks.
