Features of the relay evaluation unit IN 40-R

The relay evaluation unit IN 40-R has the following features:
Connection of up to 10 safety sensors in the SICK series IN 4000
Direct power supply for one sensor per module
Monitoring of the switching states of the sensors connected
Monitoring of external relays (external device monitoring)
Relay outputs: 3 safety-relevant N/O contacts and 2 application
diagnostics outputs as N/C contacts (not safety-relevant)
LED indications for operating states and fault diagnostics

Terminal Assignment
A1...A6 connection for safety sensors/chains of safety sensors
C1 power supply and P1/P2 (remove jumper)
C2 external device monitoring
C4 fail-safe relay output (normally open contact)
C5 non-fail-safe relay outputs (normally closed contact)
C6 fail-safe relay outputs (normally open contact)
