Water and cleansant/detergent system
The water can be supplied under pressure from the HP pump
or sucked in directly from an unpressurized tank. The water
is then conveyed by the HP pump to the safety jet pipe under
pressure. The HP jet is regulated by the control nozzle on
the safety jet pipe.
Cleansants/detergents can be admixed via a high-pressure
injector.
Follow the environmental, waste and
water protection regulations.
Jet pipe with spray pistol
If the spray pistol is used the machine can only be operated
when the safety switch lever is pressed. The spray pistol is
opened when the lever is pressed. The liquid is then
conveyed to the nozzle. The spray pressure builds up and
quickly reaches the selected working pressure.
The pistol is closed when the lever is released, thus preventing
any further escape of liquid from the jet pipe.
The pressure surge when the pistol is closed opens the
pressure control valve-safety valve. The pump remains
switched on and pumps in a cycle at a reduced overpressure.
The pressure control valve-safety valve is closed when the
pistol is opened and the pump delivers at the selected
working pressure to the jet pipe.
The spray pistol is a safety device.
Repairs may only be carried out by trained
experts. Use only those components
approved by the manufacturer if spare
parts are required.
Pressure control valve - Safety valve
The pressure control valve-safety valve protects the machine
against an inadmissibly high overpressure and is designed
so that it cannot be set above the permissible operating
pressure. The check nut of the twist handle is sealed with
lacquer.
The working pressure and spray volume can be infinitely
adjusted by turning the twist handle.
Replacements, repairs, new settings and
sealing may only be carried out by trained
experts. . . . .
Protective motor switch
The motor is protected against overloads by a protective
motor switch. The motor is switched of by the protective
motor switch in the event of an overload situation. If this is
repeated, remedy the cause of the fault (cf. Page 15/16).
Replacement and testing may only be carried out by a trained
electrician when the machine has been electrically
disconnected from the mains, i.e. mains plug unplugged.
Installation
Location
The machine may not be installed and used
in rooms where there is a risk of fires or
explosions nor in puddles. The machine may
never be used under water.
Attention!
Never suck in liquids which contain solvents
such as thinners, benzene, oil or similar
liquids.
The seals in the device are not solvent-
resistant! Solvent spray mist is highly
flammable, explosive and toxic.
Attention!
When hot water of 70°C is used,
temperatures will increase. Do not touch
the units without protective gloves.

Electrical connection

The machine is supplied complete with mains cable and
plug.
The plug must be inserted into a correctly
installed socket with an equipment
grounding conductor and FI fault current
safety switch. The socket should have a
16 A time-lag fuse on the mains side.
An extension cable, when used, must have
a PE conductor and must properly be
connected to the plug-and-socket
connections. The conductors of the
extension cable must have a cross section
of 1.5 mm². The plug-and-socket connection
must be splash-proof and must no lie on
wet ground.
