Lifting the backrest (fig.38): Lift the backrest to the required position, without pressing the lever.
Make sure the backrest has been secured correctly in place before use.
The backrest can be adjusted to more different positions, two positions with the seat forward
facing and three positions with the seat rearward facing.
WARNING: for babies under 6 months of age, the backrest must be only in the fully reclined,
horizontal position at all times, seat reaward facing (fig. 39).
RELEASING THE SEAT
Removing the seat (fig.40): Press the locking button "A" and at the same time slide the release
lever "B". Remove the seat by lifting it.
SAFETY HARNESS
Release the buckle (fig. 41): press button "A" and remove the components.
Fasten the buckle (fig. 42): by inserting part A in part B, a click will indicate that it has been
fastened correctly.
IMPORTANT: The safety belt has to use always and only correctly fasten, including all components.
Make sure that the child had always the safety-belts well fixed and adjusted at the right point.
WARNING: The lap belt is provided with 2side rings to be used for additional belts in
compliance with the standard BS 6684.
ADJUSTING THE SAFETY HARNESS (fig. 43-53)
The safety harness can be adjusted to suit your child's build. Use the adjustment rings to adjust
the harness to the right size (fig. 43).
Some slots can be found at various heights in the backrest with strips of belt for fastening the
harness for use according to the child's build.
To adjust the harness correctly, the harness must be fastened on the backrest close to the child's
shoulders.
For children below 6 months of age, always use the harness, fastened to the strips of belt in the
lowest position (fig. 44).
Always use the chest pads, securing them with the press fasteners to the chosen strips of belt to
fasten the harness.
Hide the strips of belt that are not used to fasten the harness inside the slots in the seat fabric.
To use these strips of belt again, remove them from the slots or to make this operation easier,
partially remove the fabric from the side of the body and insert the strips of belt in the chosen
slots (fig. 53).
