General notes on system functions
and reasons for faults
Registration of a receiver
If a receiver is connected to the UFO
system for the first time, its registration is
required.
How it is done is explained in the instruction
manual of the receiver. The relevant informati-
on is found in the section "Basic settings" or
"Installation UFO ® micro".
Possible reasons for faults
If there is a problem, even though the installation
is correctly carried out and the units are fully
operational, the reason may be:
RESET: Also for multifeed (8 or more Sat
levels), reset is implemented only on the
master unit (see Fig. 5)
There is no mains supply to the UFO
units (a fuse from the house or apartment
mains network has blown).
After the termination of mains power supply to
the master unit, the receiver will function again
only after they have been switched off and
switched on again.
The receiver was not set to the UFO
mode or is not UFO ® micro mode compatible
(see instruction manual for the receiver).
Unsuitable outlet sockets.
If some of the receivers refuse programme
selection, a system reset is recommended.
