System interlock (preventing receiver login)
Further receivers are prevented from logging in to the system from the moment the "interlock" function is activated.
An invalid address is sent to a receiver that initiates a login.
Receiver login is then possible only after resetting the receiver in the UFO
from the UFO ® micro system).
To interlock new registrations on the system, carry out the following:
Disconnect the Master Unit from power supply.
Terminate the Service Socket "[-" of the Master Unit with 75 Ω resistor EMK 03.
Reconnect power supply to the Master Unit.
To cancel the interlock:
Disconnect the Master Unit from power supply.
Remove the 75 Ω resistor EMK 03 at Service Socket "[-".
Reconnect power supply to the Master Unit.
Copying receivers that have already been logged in is also possible while the system is locked.
Service function
This function is intended for service purposes only and does not permit regular operation of the system. With the
service function activated, the converters (remote frequencies) without random generators integrated in the UFO
system are allocated in the required sequence. This function serves to locate individual defective converters.
Every time the receiver is switched on, the next converter is allocated within the following sequence:

In multifeed systems, all the EXU 544 in the system can be reached by selecting the polarisation at the receiver: The unit
of the corresponding polarisation is always switched on. The unit where the Sat signal is fed in (left) is always a basic
unit. It is also the Master Unit in 4-level (polarisation) systems.
To switch on the service function:
Terminate Service Socket "[-" of the Master Unit during operation with 75 Ω resistor EMK 03.
To switch off the service function:
Remove the 75 Ω resistor EMK 03 at Service Socket "[-".
Note:
Regular operation is not possible with the service function active. If the power supply is switched off and on with the
terminated service socket, the service function will switch off and interlock of further receiver logins will be activated
(see System interlock (preventing receiver login)).
