Setting the speed (Fig. 15)
Setting the speed control (1 = minimum,
7 = maximum speed).
Fitting accessories
One of the following combinations is
necessary for each different type of job:
• Fitting template guide
• Fitting parallel fence
• Fitting centring point
Remove the parts not needed first!
Risk of injury! Before carrying out
any fitting work on the appliance,
unplug it from the power supply!
Fitting template guide
Application example:
Machining a number of
workpieces of the same
shape, using a template
(mass production).
Prerequirement: only
router heads which can fit
through the template
guide without touching it
can be used!

screws from underneath the base plate.
Insert copy casing (20) with the edge of
the casing facing downwards.
Screw the two screws back into the
template guide.
Fitting parallel fence
Application example:
Rout parallel to a straight
workpiece edge.
Fig. 17: Loosen both fixing screws (5).
Insert the rip fence guiding rods (19) in
to the mounting rails (7) located in the
base plate (6).
Set distance and retighten fixing screws.
Fig. 18: If the distance between router
path and workpiece edge is particularly
great, use parallel fence. For this, using
the combination spanner, change the
guide bars round.
Fitting centring point
Application example:
Routing circular
workpieces.
Fig. 19: Fitting parallel fence (19)
reversed.
Using the knurled nut, fit the centring
point (22) to the parallel fence.

Safety check
Before use check that the router head
and any fitted parts are securely seated.
