Risks when handling the
appliance
Risk of burns!
During its use, the device and its exposed
parts can become hot.
Please avoid touching the heating ele-

Children aged 8 years or younger must

be kept away from the device, unless they
are under constant supervision.
Hob
■
– The cooking zones get very hot during
operation and will remain hot after they
are switched off.
– Hot steam can flow from the extraction
hood (ventilation) when the oven is in
use.
Oven
■
– Never pour water directly into the hot
oven. The steam can cause scalding
and damage the enamel.
– Allow hot water from the oven to cool be-
fore pouring it out.
– Never leave the oven unattended while
grilling. Keep children away!
Allow the cooking zones and oven to cool
■
completely before cleaning.
Fire hazard!
Hob
■
Unsupervised hob cooking with grease
and oil can be dangerous and can cause
fi res.
– NEVER attempt to extinguish a fire with
water; instead switch the appliance off
and then cover the flames with, for ex-
ample, a pan lid or a fire blanket.
– If you are preparing food with alcohol, do
not leave the cooker unattended! Food
may ignite of its own accord.
– Never store objects on the cooking area.
– The cooking process must be super-
vised. A short cooking process must be
constantly supervised.
Controls and appliance parts
– Only protective hob grilles or hob cov-
ers made by the hob manufacturer, ap-
proved protective hob grilles or covers
which are listed in the user manual, or
pre-installed protective hob grilles or hob
covers may be used. The use of unsuit-
able protective hob grilles or hob covers
may lead to accidents.
Oven
■
– Only ever operate the oven with the
oven door closed.
– Do not cover cakes or roasts being
cooked in the oven with baking parch-
ment. Do not allow food, baking parch-
ment and aluminium foil to come into
contact with the heating elements.
– Do not place food to be grilled too far
back near the end of the heating ele-
ment. It is particularly hot there. Fatty
foods can catch fire.
– Do not store temperature-sensitive,
combustible or flammable objects in the
oven! If the appliance is switched on un-
intentionally they may deform or ignite.
– Do not use the oven for storage purpos-
es.
– In case of an oven fire: Do not open the
oven door!
Once the fi re has been extinguished,

have the appliance checked by our ser-
vice team (see page EN-31).
Timer
■
– Before starting the timer, please make
sure to inform all members of the house-
hold so that they do not put anything in
the oven.
– Never leave anything to grill unattended
when using the timer!
– Monitor the oven while using the timer
in order to prevent spilling and burning.
Please note that fats, oils and alcohol
can catch on fire when heated.
