CD-changer mode | External audio sources
To cancel MIX,
Ñ
press the 4 MIX button 4 once or
several times until "MIX OFF" is displayed.
The MIX symbol disappears from the display.
Scanning all tracks on all CDs
(SCAN)
To scan (briefl y play) all the tracks on all the
inserted CDs in ascending order,
press the 5 SCAN button 4.
Ñ
The next track will then be scanned. "SCAN"
briefl y appears on the display followed by the
current CD and track number.
To stop scanning,
press the 5 SCAN button 4.
Ñ
The currently played track will then continue to
be played normally.
Interrupting playback (PAUSE)
Ñ
Press the button 2
"PAUSE" appears on the display.
To cancel the pause,
Ñ
button 4 again.
press the 2
Playback is continued.

External audio sources
Instead of a CD changer, you can also connect
an iPod or other external audio sources to the
device via the AUX input, such as portable CD
players, MiniDisc players or MP3 players:

An adapter cable is needed to
connect an external audio source
via the AUX input (not part of the
scope of delivery).

The AUX input can be selected
with the SRC button ;. The
display shows "CDC", "I-POD" or
"AUX" according to the setting of
the AUX input (see the next
section).

If an iPod is connected and
selected as audio source, the
display shows the current
directory and track number.
Directories and tracks can be
selected like CDs and tracks in
CD changer mode.
Adjusting the AUX input for an
external audio source
You can adjust the AUX input to the type of
audio source (CDC, iPod or AUX). If you
connect a CD changer or an iPod and select the
corresponding setting, you can operate CD
changer and iPod via the device. For other
external audio sources, select AUX.
Press the MENU button 7.
