Selecting the waveband/memory
bank
This device can be used to receive programs of
the frequency bands FM, MW and LW (for the
tuner region EUROPE) or FM and AM (for the
tuner region NAFTA). There are three memory
banks available for the FM waveband (FM1,
FM2 and FMT) and one for each of the MW and
LW or AM wavebands.
Five stations can be stored in each memory
bank.
To switch between the memory banks and
wavebands,
press the BND•TS button 3.

With the tuner setting EUROPE, you switch
between FM I, FM II, FM TS, MW and LW. With
the tuner setting NAFTA, you switch between
FM I, FM II, FM TS and AM.

Tuning into a station

There are various ways of tuning into a station.
Automatic station seek tuning

active (the display shows the TA
symbol), the next traffi c information
station is set.
Tuning into stations manually
You can also tune into stations manually.

("LOCAL" setting) or also weak stations
("DISTANCE" setting) can be tuned into.
