3-8. Setting the hysteresis

The hysteresis can be set using option switches 3 to 5 (switch
for hysteresis per unit resolution and hysteresis 1 and 2
switches). Improvement can sometimes be gained by raising
the hysteresis value when the number of divisions is large
with respect to the input signal accuracy or when flickering
of the A/B phase signals occurs due to noise or other adverse
conditions.
In the default settings, the hysteresis for 1/number of divisions
is disabled, and the hysteresis setting value is 1-cycle/2048.
