MODE switches 6, 7, and 8 (setting switches 1, 2,
and 3 for number of divisions)
These switches are used to set the number of divisions.
With these switches, the number of divisions can be set to
one of eight settings. For more information, see the section
"3-3-1. Setting the number of divisions."
MODE switch 9 (always OFF)
This switch is used at the OFF setting.
MODE switch 10 (1/2 switch)
This switch is used to halve the number of divisions that was
set using mode switches 6, 7, and 8. For more information,
see the section "3-3-2. Setting the 1/2 division function."

3-2-2. OPTION switches

The OPTION switches are used to set detailed functions.

The OPTION switches are located on the wiring board inside
the main unit. Before changing the settings, be sure to turn
off the power supply to the main unit.
Do not touch any parts other than the OPTION switches on
the wiring board.
Also, be careful that dust and pieces of metal do not get inside
the unit when making the settings.
