3-3-2. Setting the 1/2 division function

By using the 1/2 division function, it is possible to halve the
number of divisions (number of interpolations) that was set
by MODE switches 6, 7, and 8 (setting switches 1, 2, and 3
for number of divisions).
The 1/2 division function setting is made using MODE switch
10 (1/2 switch).

. MODE switch 10 (1/2 switch) does not affect the reference
point. The reference point output is determined by the A-
phase cycle that was set by mode switches 6, 7, and 8
(setting switches 1, 2, and 3 for number of divisions).
Therefore, the reference point is not synchronized with
the A/B phase when the 1/2 division function (the MODE
switch 10 is set to OFF) is used.
