5. INSTALLATION PREPARATION

Transport, unpacking, setting up
When the appliance is brought from a cold environment into the operating
room, condensation may occur. Please wait for the appliance temperature to be
equalised, and for the appliance to be absolutely dry before putting it into opera-
tion. The acclimatisation time depends on the temperature difference and the
appliance, as well as its structure. However, it should be at least 12 hours.
Please wear protective gloves during installation to prevent a risk of injury.
Before mounting the hood, prepare the tools required.
Before mounting the hood, cover the kitchen equipment to create on-site con-
ditions suitable for trouble-free installation.
Prepare an appropriate air outlet in the ceiling, open a false ceiling, create ap-
ertures, etc. Before drilling into the wall, make sure that no cables lying behind
it are damaged.
