other fuel-powered aspiration devices (e.g. devices fueled by wood, gas or coal), le-
thal combustion fumes may be developed because of depression established in the
environment. It is therefore that the installer always ensures the proper air circulation.
The level of depression in the room must not exceed 4 Pa (0.04 mbar). In version B,
the length of the discharge channel must not exceed 5 m.
Solid-fuel heating appliances
The extractor hood may only be installed over a solid-fuel heating appliance from
which a fire hazard (e.g. sparks) may be triggered, if the heating appliance has a
closed, non- removable cover.
Minimum distance from the hob
Excellent extraction capacity can be obtained if the hood is installed at a height of min.
650 mm from the upper edge of the worktop. In case of gas cookers, it must be min. 650
mm away.
To prevent condensate formation, a backflow trap shall be mounted outside, directly
on the air outlet. In case of gas kitchen appliances, please comply with the applicable
installation regulations and the installation instructions supplied by the gas appliance
manufacturer. The extractor hood may be installed over gas hobs at a minimum dis-
tance of 400 mm if the following nominal heat input (Hs) is not exceeded:
Gas cookers
Load of a hob
Load of all hobs
Load of the baking oven max. 3.9 KW
Gas cooktops
Load of a hob
Load of all hobs
In case of C-Version recirculation hoods, air turbulence may occur at high
levels!
Before being shipped, the extractor hood is subjected to a thorough test by
our quality control, where all functions are tested.
The pictures and drawings used in the operating and assembly instructions
may differ from the supplied model or
feature options which are not included.
