5.8. Initial operation

ATTENTION
The flow temperature of the heating system
must be adapted to the surface heating sy-
stem
The maximum permissible concrete tempera-
ture according to DIN near the heating pipes
must not be exceeded. The instructions of the
manufacturer are valid.
After having completed the building work, the
protection cover is removed and the thermost-
at is mounted. Now the frame is installed and
aligned and the white cover plate is mounted.

6. Operation

6.1. Setting of room temperature at the
thermostat
The room temperature is set at the thermostat
in the cover plate.
Temperature range: 7 – 28°C (room temperature)
Setting:
0 = Complete isolation

6.2. Presetting of the valve insert

A hydronic balance of the heating system and
thus a setting of the "Unibox T SH" are prescri-
bed according to the Energy Saving Directive.
The "Unibox T SH" is equipped with a presett-
able valve insert and allows an adaptation of
the flow rates to the required heat demand.
The angle pattern adapter must be removed
for presetting the valve insert (illustr. 6.1).
Installation and operating instructions

Set the valve insert to the required value by
using a 13 mm spanner or a special key. The
required setting must be in line with the mar-
king. Intermediate positions are not allowed
(illustr. 6.2).

After presetting, mount angle pattern adapter
onto the valve body again. To guarantee a per-
fect alignment of the angle pattern adapter and
the front, the snap-in nipples at the valve body
must engage into the groove of the angle pat-
tern adapter (illustr. 6.3).
