left of the central buckle on the ante-
rior belt (fig. 26). If necessary, shorten
the straps.

Close the condylar clasp by feeding
the hook-and-loop strap into the strap
guide and closing it (fig. 27).

bandage (fig. 28).

The loop strap of the hook-and-
loop closure on the bandage can be

shortened with a suitable pair of
scissors (REF 60.397.001.00). Make
sure to cut between the loop fabric
chevrons when shortening the strap.

Re-check the correct fit of the ortho-
sis, and make some more adjustments,
if necessary.
9.
Once a correct fit has been achieved,
secure the Click & Lock closures on
the femoral panel and the hip brace.
Please note: Only close the Click & Lock
closures by pushing against the latch with
your thumbs while simultaneously crea-
ting counter pressure with your fingers.
This will ensure that neither the leg nor
the hip of the patient are subjected to any
possibly harmful pressure (fig. 29).

10.
It may be necessary to open the central
buckle of the pelvic brace again so you
can easily push the latches of the Click &
Lock closures into position. Afterwards,
the central buckle can be closed again.
11.
Please consider the following when
closing the Click & Lock closure on
the panel: For all length settings
(minimum, maximum and in between)
each of the two pins must lock into
one of the holes in the bar. Only then
