5. Flexion and extension can be
adjusted in increments of 15°.

Unscrew the second stop screw and
repeat the process.
7.
Tighten this second stop screw again
in order to finish the adjustment of
the joint.
8.
Now push the black joint cover back
over the ring of the joint, covering the
screws completely.
TRI-Flex-Joint
The TRI-Flex joint is available as a left or
right joint. The joints are marked with the
letter "L" or the letter "R". They may only
be installed on the indicated side, since
otherwise flexion will not be limited. The
TRI-Flex joint is limited to a maximum
flexion of 70°. Extension is not limited.
Adjusting the Length
of the Lateral Bars
Due to the Click & Lock closure it is possible
to adjust the length of the joint in relation
to the pelvic panel.
1.
To adjust the length of the joint, insert
the bar of the joint (TRI-Flex or ROM-
Flex) into the open Click & Lock closure.
2.
It is absolutely mandatory to pay heed
to the maximum extension length.
Otherwise, a secure connection
between the bar and the pelvic panel
cannot be guaranteed.

The bar is secured in its position by
the pins on the Click & Lock closure,
which lock into the holes in the bar. In
case the Click & Lock closure cannot

down a little within the limits of the
adjustment area, so the pins can lock
into the holes on the bar.
4. Double Pin:
The double pin version
can be identified by the two metal
pins, which have been embedded
directly into the lever of the
Click&Lock closures (fig. 8).

Please note: The maximum permitted
extension length of the bar. There is an
engraved line on the bar that indicates
the maximum permitted extension.
The bar must not be pulled out of the
Click & Lock closure beyond this line.

Hold the orthosis alongside the
patient's affected leg for orientation.
6.
Now insert the upper lateral bar into the
Click & Lock closure on the pelvic panel.
