Only use original spare parts that have been tested and approved
by the manufacturer.
(If necessary, request a comprehensive spare parts list from the
manufacturer)
For cleaning use commercially available cleaning agents only.
Follow the stipulated safety measures and do not use any tools that
may cause scratching or tools for scraping (surface treatment will be
irreversibly damaged!)
General inspection on fans (annually)
- Check for unusual bearing noises. (Check for excessive bearing play)
Replacement of fans
(Expected service life is approx. 60.000 operating hours at a temperature of 40°C / 104°F).
1. Detect which fan is failed (visiual)
2. Release power cables from the rear side
3. Unfix the three screws of the fan unit
4. Pull fan unit approx. 20 cm forward
5. Demount the valve actuator (drive) by pressing the lock
6. Pull out fan unit completely
7. Demount fins, therefore unfix the screws
8. Loose the fan power cables at the board and relays (see wiring scheme)
9. Unfix the four plastic fan retaining bolts
10. Remove the failed fan.
The fan is installed in the reverse order of removal.

Prior to all servicing work:
- disconnect CoolServe from the electricity supply
- wait until the fan blades have stopped
- Secure against switch on
At service work at cooling water system
- Shut down water cooling circuit and drain heat exchanger.
