You must not open the device housing or attempt to repair

pliance is no longer assured and the warranty will become
void . Only allow authorised technicians to repair a defective
appliance .
Ensure that the power cable 4 does not become wet or

moist during use . Route the cable in such a way that it cannot
be crushed or damaged .
Ensure that objects can never penetrate into the inside of the

appliance, particularly not metal hair clips, grips or hairpins .
Never use the appliance near water, particularly not near
sinks, bathtubs or similar vessels . The proximity of water
presents a risk, even when the appliance is switched off .
Always disconnect the plug from the mains power socket
after use . As additional protection, the installation of a
residual current circuit-breaker with an activation power
rating of not more than 30 mA is recommended for the
power circuit in the bathroom . Ask your electrician for advice .
