This appliance can be used by chil-

persons with reduced physical, senso-
ry or mental abilities, or who lack ex-
perience and/or knowledge, if they
are supervised or have been instruct-
ed in the safe use and understand the
risks associated with its use.
Children should not be allowed to

play with the appliance nor should
they have access to the appliance
when left unattended.
Cleaning and user maintenance must
■
not be carried out by children unless
they are supervised.
Keep children away from the door
■
glass! The glass door can become
very hot during operation and pose a
risk of burning!
Safety
Risks when handling the
appliance
Fire hazard!
Only ever operate the appliance with
■
the oven door closed.
Do not cover cakes or roasts being
■
cooked in the appliance with baking
parchment. Do not allow food, bak-
ing parchment and aluminium foil to
come into contact with the heating
elements.
Do not place food to be grilled at the
■
back of the heating element where
it is especially hot there. Fatty foods
can catch fi re.
Do not store temperature-sensitive,
■
combustible or fl ammable objects
in the appliance! If the appliance
is switched on unintentionally they
may deform or ignite.
Do not use the appliance for storage
■
purposes.
If food is prepared in oil, in fat or with
■
alcohol, do not leave the appliance
unattended! The food may ignite.
In case of a fi re in the appliance: Do
■
not open the door!
In case of cookware fi re: Immediately
■
cover with the lid or with a fi re blan-
ket!
Never extinguish burning oil or fat
■
with water!
If a fi re starts, immediately turn all
■
switches to zero and switch off the
automatic circuit breakers and/or un-
screw the fuses. To extinguish the fi re,
use a suitable fi re extinguisher with
the designation 'F' or a fi re blanket.
