OPERATION

Initial operation

Plug in the plug. An acoustic signal sounds and the cooker is in standby mode.
Power up
• Press the ON/OFF button for 2 seconds after inserting the stove to switch it on.
• Press the FUNCTION button to select one or both hobs.
• If you do not make any further settings within 10 seconds, the unit automatically
returns to standby mode.
Power down
• In work or standby mode, press the ON/OFF button to turn the cooker off.
• In work or standby mode, press and hold the FUNCTION button to turn off one of
the hotplates.
Setting the timer
The timer can be set from 5-180 minutes.
• Press the FUNCTION button to set the power off timer. The display shows [0]. The
power indicator and temp indicator above the display will turn on. The timer display
flashes. Briefly press the arrow keys to increase/decrease the time in 5 minute
steps. Press and hold the arrow keys to increase/decrease the time in 10 minute
increments. If no key is pressed for more than 5 seconds, the selection is accepted
and the instrument returns to the last operating mode.
• When the timer is active, the display shows the countdown time. You can adjust the
time later with the arrow keys. The display briefly shows the temperature or power
level. The countdown time is then displayed again. As soon as the set time has
elapsed, the device switches off automatically.
