Installation

The appliance must be mounted HORIZONTALLY to ensure
that the airflow is not impeded or blocked. The appliance will
become hot during use so it is important that the specified
minimum safe distance to combustible material is observed.
1. Remove all the packaging material and check that
the appliance is intact.
2. Select
an appropriate
location to mount
the appliance.
The appliance
must be installed at
least 10 cm above
the floor and at
least 50 cm below
the ceiling.
3. Mount the appliance horizontally. Use suitable screws/
fasteners.
4. Mount the external temperature sensor in a suitable
location. Do not position it directly above the appliance.
5. Plug the appliance into an earthed electrical socket.
The appliance is now ready for use.
When the appliance is used for the first time it may emit a little
smoke and a burning smell – this is not dangerous and is
completely normal. The burning smell will soon disappear as
soon as the corrosion-inhibiting coating has been burned off.
