• Never turn the appliance off
by unplugging it. Always turn
the appliance off by setting the on/off
switch to the off position.
• Ensure that no foreign objects enter
the appliance as this may lead to short
circuiting, electric shocks, or a fire
hazard.
• Never position the appliance in such
a way that the mains lead is directly in
front of or touching the housing.
• The appliance must only be connected
to an earthed electrical socket with
a power supply of 220–240 V AC.
• Only use the appliance as described
in the instruction manual. Do not use
the appliance for any purpose other
than that for which it was intended or
modify it in any way.
• Make sure that the heating coil is
clean and is not covered with dust or
residue.
• The appliance is designed to be
mounted horizontally on a wall.
• For extra safety, all electrical products
connected to the mains should be run
through an RCD for personal safety.
The RCD should be rated to trip at:
Tripping current 30 mA.
• Fixed wire installation should only be
performed by an authorised electrician.
