6.1 Initial switch−on

1. If 935x brake choppers are integrated into the drive system:
– Ensure the mains supply is switched−off.
– Use switches S1 and S2 to adapt the 935x brake chopper to the mains voltage (see
documentation for the brake chopper).
2. Switch on the mains.
– The drive system will be ready for operation after approx. 0.5 s.
3. Control the readiness for operation via both LEDs at the front of the regenerative
power supply module:

4. Adapt all controllers which are connected to the drive system to the mains voltage
(under C0173).

Prior to initial switch−on check the completeness, polarity, short circuit and
earth fault of the drive system wiring.
Keep to the switch−on sequence!

The regenerative power supply module is connected to the mains voltage and is ready for
operation.
