Load application is implemented via the convex load but­
ton on the top of the force transducer. The structural ele­
ment coming into contact with the convex load applica­
tion part should be ground and have a hardness of at
least 40 HRC.
Thrust pieces are available to ensure ideal force applica­
tion. These thrust pieces, which are placed on the con­
vex load button, have a suitable surface quality.
The substructure must be capable of absorbing the force
to be measured. Remember that the rigidity of the overall
system depends on the stiffness of the force application
part and the substructure. Please also note that the sub­
structure must ensure that force always has to be applied
to the transducer vertically, i.e. there must be no inclina­
tion, even under full load.
