General installation guidelines

The forces to be measured must act on the transducer
as accurately as possible in the direction of measure­
ment. Bending moments resulting from lateral force,
eccentric loading and the lateral forces themselves, may
produce measurement errors and destroy the transducer,
if limit values are exceeded.
