power. Keep away from aerials, antennas and high voltage electricity pylons. Take into account that the wheelchair
itself can disturb electromagnetic fields such as emitted by alarm systems of shops.
8. Contact with water, snow or ice may affect the performance of your wheelchair. Never use your wheelchair in
a pool or other body of water. If your chair becomes wet, or if you use water to clean it, dry the chair thoroughly as
soon as you can.
9. Hot surfaces: Not only motors can be hot during the operation of the chair, but also the upholstery material and
armrests when standing in the sun.
10. Lap belts: Lap belts are fitted as positional aids, and are not suitable as transportation restraints.
Position belt is situated in the middle of the stomach. The positioning belt should be adjusted so that a hand can
be placed between the user and the belt.
Maintenance: Check lap belt, and security components, at regular intervals for any sign of frays, or damage.
Replace if necessary.
WARNINGS:
- The rider plus item should never exceed a total weight of 120 kg.
- Before you use the chair make sure that the chair operates smoothly.
- If you detect a problem, make sure to repair or adjust the chair. Your supplier can help you to find and correct the
problem.
- Make sure batteries are charged.
- Be aware that there is a point during every transfer when the wheelchair seat is not below you.
- Use extra care when you drive your chair in reverse. You may lose control or fall if one of the rear wheels hits an
object.
- Never use your chair on a slope unless you are sure you can do so without losing traction.
- Lift the chair only by non-detachable parts of the main frame.
- Never make direct contact both terminals, as an explosion may occur.
- Do not use this chair if any of the tires are under- or over-inflated.
- When using cell phones you should switch off the chair because of causing electromagnatic radiations.

C. ASSEMBLY
1. Footrest (Fig. 2): Press the release button in order to be able to swivel a footrest right or left. To remove it from
the wheelchair, press the button, rotate the footrest approximately 90º, and pull upward.
2. Armrest (Fig. 3): Insert the tubes of the armrest in the receptor tubes and turn the handle right to fix the position.
3. Anti-tip wheels:These are mounted when the wheelchair leaves the factory. The anti-tip wheels tube is fitted to
the frame tube by a mounting pin. They will be removed by pressing this pin inwards. Reverse the procedure to
assembly. If anti-tips wheels are fitted, the wheelchair may interfere with kerbs when mounting or dismounting.
4. Kerb climber (Fig. 4)
Put the connecting brackets in each lower frame tube, and hold them slightly with the screw and the nut, using
a 5 mm. Allen key. (1)
Insert the supports in each bracket. (2)
Put the kerb climber in the supports.
The fastening lops are inserted through the holes of the kerb climber tube and the holes of the supports. (3)
