The thermostat only uses Access Point mode to receive the domestic network configuration that it
must connect to for normal operation; once activated, the device creates its own Wi-Fi network to
which it connects via the specific app, using a mobile device and sending the network configuration
to the thermostat (see "Access to the domestic network and Internet"). When the configuration has
been received, the device restarts; it deactivates Access Point mode in order to connect to the
domestic network.
If the Wi-Fi module is disabled, the device can no longer communicate with the remote server and it
can no longer be managed via the app.
USER INSTRUCTIONS
Activating Wi-Fi Access Point mode (AP)
Press the button key to access value change; after the
access, the current parameter value is displayed.
Activate/deactivate the Wi-Fi Access Point mode of the device
(0 = disabled; 1 = enabled) via the circular touch slider or the
push-button. The parameter is only displayed if the Wi-Fi module
(P 40) is active. To confirm the set value, press the button key
within thirty seconds; expiry of the time-out (30 seconds) or
pressing the push-button
without saving it.
Activating the Wi-Fi radio module
Press the button key to access value change; after the
access, the current parameter value is displayed.
Activate/deactivate the Wi-Fi radio module of the device (0 =
disabled; 1 = enabled) via the circular touch slider or the
button. To confirm the set value, press the button key
thirty seconds; expiry of the time-out (30 seconds) or pressing the
push-button result in exiting the change page without saving
it.
