XAVC QFHD (4K)
100 Mbps Support
Recording/playback/output in XAVC
QFHD format is supported.
The "CBKZ-X70FX" (sold separately) is
required to record in XAVC QFHD.
Recording in XAVC QFHD
100 Mbps
When compatible recording media is
inserted in the camcorder, you can switch
the recording format in the menu.
* See "Recommended memory cards" (page 14).

The video signal can be output to an external
device while recording in XAVC QFHD.
The face detection function is also
supported when recording in 4K.

– VF/LCD PANEL: Viewfinder/LCD

output selected in step 1.
Notes
• The picture being recorded is not displayed on
the viewfinder/LCD panel when [QFHD REC
OUTPUT] is set to [EXTERNAL OUTPUT].
• The picture is output to the viewfinder/LCD
panel when recording using the following
functions, even when set to [EXTERNAL
OUTPUT].
– Recording to media and distribution during
live streaming, network client mode, and
running USTREAM.
• The [QFHD REC OUTPUT] settings are
enabled only when
[FILE FORMAT] is set to [XAVC QFHD].
