Configuring using the menu

Press the MENU button, and configure
the following items in
(NETWORK SET) t [USTREAM].
SIZE
Select the image size for USTREAM
distribution.
– 640×360 (default setting)
– 1280×720
Tip
• The frame rate of the streaming data will vary
depending on the recording settings for the
original file. For details, see "USTREAM
supported formats" (page 19).
SERVER REC SET
Set whether to record the distributed movie
on the USTREAM server.
– ON: Record (default setting)
– OFF: Do not record

Starting USTREAM

Press the MENU button and select
(NETWORK SET) t
[USTREAM] t [EXECUTE].
Configure authentication in [USER
INFO SET] if you haven't already done
so.

Select the connection method
(wired/wireless).

Select a channel.
USTREAM distribution is enabled.

Press the THUMBNAIL button to
start streaming.

D Number of viewers
">1000000" is displayed if the
number of viewers exceeds
1,000,000.

To stop streaming, press the
THUMBNAIL button again.
Notes
• For details about limitations when using
USTREAM, see "Function limitations"
(page 22).
• Check that the date and time have been set
correctly on the camcorder before starting
streaming.
• When a channel is selected, text characters not
supported on the camcorder may not be
displayed correctly.
Tips
• If the channel name is not displayed correctly,
select the appropriate language in
(OTHERS) t [LANGUAGE].
• You can assign the USTREAM start/stop
function (USTREAM) and streaming start/stop
function (STREAM OPERATION) to ASSIGN
buttons (page 15).
