Connecting the two pipe ends

Connect the two pipe ends using an adapter and FRIALEN slide couplings UB.
NOTICE
Make sure that the parted site on the pipe is clean and dry. It may have to be
cleaned with a clean, dry, and lintfree cloth.
There must be no moisture in the fusion zone!
Moisture in the welding zone can cause the connection to leak!

Removing the repair balloon

After the cooling time, remove the repair balloon from the pipe. It must be
deflated before it is removed. On repair balloons for pipe sizes d 90 - d 315,
simply pull the air hose on the pump, and the air escapes by itself. The pump
must be used to deflate repair balloons for pipe sizes d 355 - d 900. In this
case, you must connect the air hose to the pump on the "Deflate" side (see
Fig. 24). Now the air inside the repair balloon can be pumped out.
Once all the air has been removed, pull the repair balloon out through the drill
hole (see Fig. 25).
