On pipe sizes d 90 - d 315, insert the plug in the drill
hole after introducing, inflating, and positioning the
repair balloon (see Fig. 22).
Use the clip on the air hose to secure the plug in place. This ensures that the
repair balloon is positioned correctly.
Any discharging water can flow off through the relief hole at the plug.
The plug is not inserted in the drill hole on pipe sizes d 355 - d 900.

Use of the extension set (optional)

The extension set is used to block subsequent water, according to chapter 4.1
from connecting zone of the second pipe end.
After the first pipe end is closed with the repair balloon,
close the shut-off valve and dismantle the connection
hose to the pump (see Fig. 23).
Afterwards place the repair balloon into the pipe according to chapter 4.5.
Connect the air hose of the second repair balloon (extension set) with the
connecting hose of the pump.
Make sure that the shut-off valve is open.
Pump as described in chapter 4.5 slowly the air into the repair balloon by us-
ing the pump. Check the correct position of the repair balloon in the pipe and
close the shut-off valve.
