• Drilling machine with following requirements:
- Power input 1700 W
- Speed range 300-700 rpm
- Hole saw receiver SDS max
• FRIATOOLS scraper tools:
- Saddle scraper tool FWSG SE up to d 315
- Scraper tool FWSG
- Hand scraper or hand scraper for large pipes
• FRIAMAT fusion unit
• FRIATOOLS drilling device FWAB XL from d 355
• FRIATOOLS clamping unit FRIATOP for pipe sizes d 250 ­ d 315
• FRIATOOLS vacuum clamping unit VACUSET XL for pipe sizes d 355 ­ d 500
• Tensioning belts for clamping the FRIALEN XL repair saddle RS­XL
for pipe sizes d 560 - d 900
• FRIALEN / FRIALEN XL coupler UB d 90 ­ d 900
• FRIALEN end caps MV d 225 when FRIALEN XL spigot saddles
SA-XL d 355 - d 500/225 are used
• FRIALEN / FRIALEN XL components for closing the drill hole as
listed in Table 1

Installing the RPS repair kit

WARNING!
Danger of explosion!
Do not use in pipes carrying highly flammable or explosive media, e.g. in gas
distributors, or in pipes carrying potentially dangerous concentrations.
Danger of death!
4.1

Use

To keep the entire connecting area dry, insert a repair balloon in each end of
the pipe with discharging residual water.
Remove deposits and foreign bodies from the inside surfaces of the pipe in
contact with the repair balloon.
