Drilling for installing the repair kit

Using a FRIALEN marker, mark the centre point for
the drilling (see Fig. 7).
Drill pipe sizes d 90 - d 315 with the provided hole saw
(Ø 50 mm) and pipe sizes d 355 - d 900 with the hole
saw from the FRIATOOL drilling device FWAB XL 225
(Ø 172 mm) at 3 or 9 o'clock (see Figs. 8 and 9).
The FRIALEN XL spigot saddle SA-XL is used to close
drill holes on sizes d 355 - d 500. The FRIALEN XL
spigot saddle SA-XL must be processed before the
drilling is made. The drilling is then made through the
outlet of the FRIALEN XL spigot saddle SA-XL
(see Fig. 9).
INFORMATION
The position of the drill point limits the maximum level of discharging water and
prevents a buildup of pressure.
Excess levels flow off through the drill hole (see Fig. 10).
