1 Automatic power-off is enabled
2 Automatic range selection is enabled
3 Diode test symbol
4 Continuity test symbol
5 Symbol for active data hold function
6 Symbol for measuring frequency and
pulse duration ratio in %
7 Active relative value measurement
8 Battery status indicator
9 Temperature unit (°Celsius = European, °Fahrenheit = empirical)
10 V = Volt (unit of electrical voltage), mV = Millivolt (exp.-3)
A = Ampere (unit of electric current)

13 Prefix for negative readings
14 Direct current symbol
15 nF = Nanofarad (exp.-9, unit of electrical capacity)
